Norcal Mudo is dedicated to teaching Kickboxing to teens and adults in a down-to-earth and respectful environment. No experience is necessary. Beginners are very welcome.
We train as team to build strength, flexibility, self control and a warrior spirit. The confidence you build in class with your team mates will carry over into other areas of your life. We practice Sanda Kickboxing which has strikes found in Boxing & Muay Thai. We also use takedowns found in Wresting & Judo.
Coach Vince has trained and competed in Sanda Kickboxing. He holds a fourth degree black belt in Moodukkwan Taekwondo and has been teaching martial arts in the SF Bay Area for over 25 years.

The focus of instruction is to develop a strong mechanical understanding of the basic strikes from kickboxing. Once you build this understanding from classes and practice, you will be able to seamlessly string techniques together into a smooth chain. As you progress, more complicated footwork can be incorporated with your strikes. Coach Vince brings his experience from Sanda Kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do into the class. Dynamic kicking and grappling techniques (kick catching with throw) are frequently shared in class.

MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR
Vince is a Bay Area native and has been training in martial arts since 1993. He holds a fourth degree black belt in Moodukkwan Taekwondo and has trained in disciplines including San Shou Kickboxing, Northern Shaolin, Tai Chi and Toyama Ryu Battodo.
